Petro-Emphor Co. W.L.L., a subsidiary of Centena Group and a provider of integrated laboratory and testing solutions, has been appointed as the authorised distributor for Stanhope-Seta’s full range of laboratory test instruments and quality control solutions in Qatar.
This strategic partnership positions Petro-Emphor as the exclusive local distributor for Stanhope-Seta’s premium analytical instrumentation, marking a significant milestone in the company’s expansion within Qatar’s laboratory and industrial solutions market.
Under the agreement, Petro-Emphor will supply advanced testing instruments used for fuel safety, regulatory compliance, and performance analysis, supporting critical sectors such as oil and gas, petrochemicals, aviation, marine fuel, and research laboratories.
Stanhope-Seta’s portfolio includes technologies for flash point testing, hydrogen sulphide (H₂S) analysis, cetane number measurement, FAME analysis, particle contamination, vapour pressure, and water separation testing—all essential for maintaining quality and compliance across fuel supply chains.
Nilesh Korgaonkar, CEO of Emphor DLAS, highlighted the importance of the collaboration, stating that the partnership strengthens Petro-Emphor’s position in Qatar while expanding access to globally trusted, high-precision instrumentation. He also emphasized the added value of integrated services, including certified reference materials, consumables, technical support, and training.

The partnership comes as Qatar continues to strengthen its energy infrastructure and industrial capabilities, with plans to expand LNG production capacity to 142 million tonnes per annum by 2030.
