Atlab Stem Academy, an educational learning initiative of Centena Group of Companies in India inaugurated Atlab facility at Girls High School, Mogappair on Wednesday.
According to a press release, Atlab will provide full-fledged teaching support to the school through activity based learning solutions and equipments, aligned with the curriculum of CBSE and Samaseer Kalvi.
The facility will include 21st century laboratory equipments, activity kits, technology, science training systems and programmes suitable for K12 education to help students understand complex concepts related to science, mathematics and engineering subjects.
This initiative is part of Rotary Club of Chennai Midcity's Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Government of Tamilnadu to transform and upgrade potential schools and its facilities in a particular region.
Since 2009, Rotary Club of Chennai Midcity has made several developments in Mugappair Girls High School such as setting up of a clean drinking water facility, science/computer lab, library, construction of new buildings for class-rooms and more. However, in terms of upgrading the educational system of the school, the Rotary Club selected Atlab Stem Academy due to its assurance of highest quality education, modern teaching equipments and qualified teaching staff, the release said.
