CSR Management

We have a unified reporting system to handle our CSR activities. We have mapped our CSR policies and developed our strategies based on the four impact areas outlined in the Dubai Chamber CSR model – Workplace, Marketplace, Community and Environment. All our strategies are mapped under the key deliverable or KPI’s with the set targets under the integrated management system.


We have a dedicated department in place “QHSE & CSR”, which is represented by Group QHSE & CSR Manager reporting to the board of directors which has clearly defined roles and responsibilities. It takes care of the CSR related activities of the group company. CSR activities decided and monitored by this department receives approval and support at the highest level in the organizational hierarchy. Our four impact areas which is outlined with in the CSR policies & strategies are – Workplace, Marketplace, Community and Environment.


To ensure the inter-departmental involvement and continuous engagement, representatives from various functions are part of “QHSE & CSR” department.


Workplace involvement

Under workplace practices we have defined a standards of conduct, policies and procedures governing the treatment of our employees, including issues of compensation, benefits, health and safety, diversity, work-life balance, employee input into company management decisions and employee training and development.


Marketplace involvement

Marketplace practices are defined as standards of conduct, policies and procedures governing the way our company improves environmental and social outcomes through our provision of goods and service and its treatment of suppliers and customers. We are responsible in our approach to procurement; by supply chain relations; by marketing & advertising; and avoid exploiting its market position.


Community involvement

Community relations are defined as standards of conduct, policies and procedures governing the way we are building positive links with members of our local communities – whether these are community groups, charities or other organization’s in the social, cultural and educational arena. There are a number of recognized ways in which we invest in the community including employee volunteering, payroll giving, providing pro bono services, donating goods, as well as philanthropic giving.


Environment involvement

Environmental practices are defined as standards of conduct, policies and procedures governing the way a company complies with relevant legislation and seeks to reduce emissions that are potentially harmful to human health and the environment, reduce energy usage and the consumption of materials, decrease waste, use more recycled materials and develop more environmentally friendly ways of working.
